Grand Jury Charges Parents in Drug Death of Four-Month-Old Girl
COVINGTON—District Attorney Warren Montgomery announces that a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Brandon Keith, 29, of Kenner, and Elizabeth Marie Dauth, 30, of Marrero, Wednesday (February 10) on a charge of second-degree murder in the death of their four-month-old daughter.
The child died of methamphetamine toxicity and an unsafe sleeping environment between Aug 9 and Aug. 10 in Slidell last year.
Assistant District Attorney Ken J. Dohre presented the case to the grand jury.
