Grand Jury Indicts Three Slidell Men for the Murder of a Pearl River Man

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on February 16, 2022, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Amarjaye Artemus Thomas, age 20, from Slidell, Louisiana, for second degree murder, two counts of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence and possession of firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. The grand jury also indicted Brock Christopher Bozant, 23, of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence and as an accessory after the fact. They indicted Jawaun Jaylin Gaines, 19, of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence.

Winston Harbin of the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Unit investigated the case and Assistant District Attorney Tiffany Dover presented the case to the Grand Jury.
