COVINGTON—District Attorney Warren Montgomery announces that a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Brian Joel Young, 21, of Mandeville, Thursday (July 16) on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of his infant son.
Young is accused of killing his son, Kaisen Young, who was six months old at the time of his death in April.
The grand jury also indicted Young on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Assistant District Attorney William T. Macke presented the case to the grand jury.
