Grand Jury Indicts Man and Woman in a Case of First Degree Rape of a Victim Under Age 13

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on February 16, 2022, a St. Tammany grand jury indicted Brandy Marie Seal 34 of Slidell and Derek M. Polk 36, an inmate in the Rayburn Correctional Institution of two counts of first-degree rape – victim under the age of 13.  Seal was also indicted for an additional count of aggravated crime against nature – victim under 13.

We want to thank the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office – Special Victim’s Unit for their outstanding investigation in this case.

Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
