Collin Sims, Chief of the Criminal Division for the 22nd JDC District Attorney’s Office talked to The Lake 94.7 about sustaining the workload during COVID-19 and managing the heavy trial caseload post-COVID.

He also talked about policies of the D.A.’s Office, wherein cases involving non-violent misdemeanor offenders who have, for instance, behavioral health or addiction issues, can be put into Programs such as Diversion or Specialty Courts. This not only helps save taxpayers money but helps people arrested for crimes, get the help they need. View information on those programs on this website under Services/Treatment Based.
