Grand Jury Indicts Hammond Man In Home Invasion and Rape

 

COVINGTON—District Attorney Warren Montgomery announced that a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted James Michael Buckley, 42, of Hammond, Tuesday (Nov. 10) on charges of first degree rape, sexual battery, home invasion, burglary of an inhabited dwelling, and two counts of attempted burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Buckley is accused of raping a woman during a home invasion in Covington on July 20, 2020.

Assistant District Attorney Ysonde K. Boland presented the case to Grand Jury.
